Mystic Path opened in December 2021. After a lifelong dream of operating a metaphysical store and community center, owner Dina Lalley took the plunge and opened her first location on Derbigny street in Gretna, Louisiana.
With the help of her dear friends, April and Linda, Mystic Path began accumulating a large variety of crystals, gemstones, books, and spiritual supplies for all spiritual paths.
Linda Hiner and her spouse April Elliot played a large part in Dina's journey to spiritual awareness. In Struthers, Ohio, April and Linda owned a magickal shop called "The Hidden Path". Linda moved on to her next life in November 2020 and remains the spiritual guardian of Mystic Path. A beautiful photo of Linda watches over the crystal room in Dina's store.
Mystic Path prides itself on serving a large variety of spiritual needs. In the store, there are a multitude of crystals both polished and natural, many rare mineral specimens as well as reference materials for magickal work and lots of spiritual supplies. Mystic Path, however, is far more than a metaphysical store--"The Path" (as it is known by regulars to the shop) is a hub of spiritual education, community, and services.
Mystic Path provides a place for craftspeople to showcase and sell their goods. In house so far it carries spiritual soaps, house made magickal sprays and washes, gorgeous handmade gemstone art, resin pieces, and intentional pendulums. Vendors are from all around the United States but mostly the New Orleans area.
In addition to providing space for craftspeople, Mystic Path provides a space for spiritual education. In the rear of the building is a small studio which is used as a ritual place, reiki studio, reading room, and many educational series and classes. Soon, it will host spirit galleries and more classes and events.
Mystic Path's mission is to welcome all spiritual practices and join them in a community of support and encouragement, where all walks of life and points of view are accepted and honored. The storefront and studio are located at 924 Derbigny street, just off Westbank Expressway in Gretna.
